This Privacy Policy explains how SalsaGames Ltd, trading as Salsa Games ("Salsa Games", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you play our games and use our related services. It applies to:

SalsaGames Ltd is a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Cypriot data protection law, SalsaGames Ltd is the data controller for the personal data processed through our Services, except where this Policy states that a platform such as TikTok, Google, or Apple acts as an independent controller.
The information we collect depends on which App you play, the platform you play it on, and the features you use. Not every App collects every category listed below.

If you play one of our games on TikTok, including TikTok Minis, we may receive the following from TikTok:
We do not receive your TikTok password, phone number, email address, contacts, private messages, or the videos you post or watch on TikTok.
To provide the game, we store data generated while you play, such as your progress, levels, scores, settings, in-game currency and items, and leaderboard entries. This data is linked to your platform identifier (for example, your TikTok open_id) or to an identifier generated by the App. Browser games on our website may store progress locally in your browser (for example, using local storage).
In-app purchases are processed by the platform or app store you play on, such as TikTok, Google Play, or the Apple App Store. We receive only the information needed to deliver your purchase and handle support requests, such as a transaction or order ID, the item purchased, the price and currency, and the date. We never receive or store your payment card or bank details.
Most of our Apps can be used without creating an account. Where relevant, you may optionally provide:
When you visit salsa.games, our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the website and keep it secure. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and styling resources from a third-party content delivery network, which means your IP address is visible to those providers when the page loads. Messages sent through our contact form are delivered to us through a third-party form-handling service (Web3Forms).

When you play our games on TikTok, TikTok operates the platform, manages your TikTok account, and processes payments and platform advertising. TikTok acts as an independent controller of the data it collects, and its use of your data is governed by the TikTok Privacy Policy. TikTok is not responsible for our games or for how we handle data under this Policy.
You can stop sharing your TikTok profile information with our games at any time by revoking the game's access in your TikTok settings. If you do, we will no longer receive updates to your display name or avatar, and you can ask us to delete the data we already hold as described in Section 11.
We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only for the purposes described in this Policy:
Service providers that process data on our behalf may use it only on our instructions. Platforms and some advertising partners act as independent controllers and process data under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal data for money. See Section 10.3 regarding "sharing" for advertising under certain U.S. state laws.
Our games may be free to play and supported by advertising, including rewarded ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards.
If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, we ask for your consent before personalized advertising is shown in our mobile Apps, where required by law.
Because we and our service providers operate globally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States. Where such transfers occur, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to keep your data protected.
If you are located in Japan, please note that your personal information may be transferred to and stored in the Republic of Cyprus, other EU member states, and the United States. You can find information about the personal data protection systems of those countries on the website of Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission. Where required by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), we take measures to ensure that recipients protect your information to a standard equivalent to that law.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:
Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you may be kept for longer.
Our games are intended for users who are at least 13 years old, or older where the platform you use, or the law in your country, sets a higher minimum age. Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. In the United States, this is in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
In some countries, users below a certain age (between 13 and 16 in the EU) need the consent of a parent or guardian before we can rely on consent to process their data. In those cases we ask for consent only where permitted, and otherwise show only non-personalized ads.
If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us using the details in Section 14.
Wherever you are located, you can ask us to access or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can opt out of personalized advertising using the settings described in Section 6.

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights under state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. These include the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing advertising partners to use device identifiers for personalized ads may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out by turning off ad personalization on your device as described in Section 6, or by emailing us with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share". We honor Global Privacy Control signals where we can technically recognize them.
Under the APPI, you may request that we disclose, correct, add to, delete, or stop using or providing to third parties the personal information we hold about you, and request information about how it is handled. Please contact us using the details in Section 14.
We will respond to requests within the time required by applicable law, normally within one month. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can ask us to delete the data associated with your gameplay at any time:
Deletion is permanent: your progress, in-game currency, and items cannot be restored afterwards. On TikTok you can also revoke the game's access in your TikTok settings, and on mobile you can delete the App from your device, which removes data stored locally on that device. For browser games on our website, you can clear your browser's site data.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our games, our practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
